Police are looking for three men involved in a theft at a boutique in Cuenca’s Historic Center, after the incident was captured on security cameras.

Footage shows the suspects spreading out inside the shop to avoid drawing attention. While two engaged the woman working at the store, a third moved toward the register and took the phones before the group exited.
The case has raised concern among nearby business owners, who say this method has been used repeatedly in the area. Some believe a coordinated group may be operating in the city center, possibly involving younger individuals.
Local merchants have begun sharing information and reviewing camera footage to help identify those responsible. Details gathered from these efforts have already been passed on to police.
