The Andean music group Ayllu Llakta is set to return to the stage with a concert on April 22 at the Pumapungo Theater.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature Live Sessions Buenos Aires, the group’s latest musical and audiovisual production.

The album was recorded in Buenos Aires at ION, Romaphonic, and Unísono studios. Although completed a year ago, this will be the first time the material is presented live to an audience.

Ayllu Llakta’s sound blends traditional Andean folklore with contemporary elements, a style that defines the group’s approach to music.

The band includes Jorge Aguirre, Josep Washima, Juan Carlos Cerna, Fernando Mendieta, Gabriel Yanza, and Patricio Lituma.

The concert will also feature a performance by the Wayrapamushkas dance group.

Tickets are available at Almacenes La Victoria in the Historic Center and at Mall del Río.
