A man was arrested in Cuenca after a police chase that began in the Tolerance Zone and ended on Amazonas Avenue.
Officers reported that the suspect was riding a motorcycle when he failed to stop at a checkpoint, triggering a pursuit through several streets before he was intercepted.

The individual, identified as Jesús M., a Venezuelan national, has a prior record for weapons-related offenses.
During the arrest, officers found 15 packets of marijuana, along with a digital scale, a cellphone, and the motorcycle used in the attempt to flee. All items were taken into custody as part of the investigation.
The suspect was turned over to the appropriate authorities, while investigators continue to examine his possible involvement in local drug distribution activities.
