Intermittent water supply is affecting 25 sectors in Cuenca as crews carry out repairs on a major pipeline in the Miraflores area.
The issue is tied to work on a 900-millimeter pipe in the Central neighborhood of Miraflores, which has disrupted normal distribution across multiple parts of the city.
- 25 sectors experiencing intermittent service
- Repairs underway on 900 mm pipeline
- Impact linked to water reserve systems
Authorities said the affected areas depend on three main reserves: El Rosario, San Miguel de Baguanchi, and Santa Teresita. Of the total, 18 sectors are tied to the first two systems, while the remaining seven depend on the third.
Technical teams remain on site working to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
