The 4.0 Shopping Showcase Fair brought together nearly 40 Ecuadorian brands at the Events Hall of Mariscal La Mar Airport in Cuenca, offering travelers a wide range of products and services.
The event featured participants from several provinces, presenting everything from primary goods to value-added products such as honey, preserves, and artisanal liquors, along with ceramic crafts, natural cosmetics, and wellness services.
Organizers highlighted the airport location as a key advantage, giving entrepreneurs access to a steady flow of national and international visitors.
“It’s an ideal space for those looking for natural products. This Friday, April 10th, we’re closing the event, hoping for a large turnout,” said Xavier Inga, a beekeeper from the Sinincay parish who showcased honey, mead, and liqueurs.
Among the exhibitors, Jorge Lozano of Saraguro presented handcrafted ceramic pieces, including decorative plates, vases, jars, and cups made using traditional techniques.
The fair also included wellness-focused services. Moisés Guillén, a therapist with Charm Stones Spa, offered massage therapy using volcanic stones.
